John 13:13-15 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jhn.13.13-15.nkjv Heavenly Father, thank you for all things - for your many examples of service to others. Thank you for reminding us that we must humbly serve each other. It is through this service to others that your glory is evident. Lord, remove from us the desire to be first and restore unto us a desire to love - which knows no boundaries. In Jesus’ name we pray; Amen.

Teach me, Lord, to be of service - to serve others; to be humble in spirit. Sometimes, we just want to be first - teach us, Lord, that there is much to do behind the scenes that is just as important or more. Let my true spirit be "What can I do for you?"
