“Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.””
Mark 10:43-45 NKJV http://bible.com/114/mrk.10.43-45.nkjv Heavenly Father, thank you for all things - for gentle reminders of purpose. Lord, forgive us when we seek position or status in situations. Remind us, Lord, that in whatever position we have and in all that we are, we are to be of service to others. When we allow ourselves to serve others, we glorify you. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray; Amen.
