“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,”

Thank you, Father, for reminding us of your will towards those in authority - that we are to pray for those who have authority over us as well as for those we have authority over. We pray that those in authority seek your guidance and heed your will for their organizations and their lives. We also pray, for those under authority, that we may have humble hearts and a spirit of followship. Keep us, Lord, in your care so that all things work for your glory. In Jesus’ name we pray and submit; Amen.
