Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father, thank you for your Word which reminds us that our trials are not just about us. Thank you for your Word which reminds us that when we share our experiences and our deliverances, we share your glory in our lives. And, when others see your glory, they, too, draw closer to you. My Lord, thank you. In Jesus’ name we pray; Amen.
Thank you, Lord. I am reminded this morning of a major work drama/trauma in my life and the day I realized that my trial was not just about me - when I realized that people were watching my reactions, and when I realized that they celebrated You and were drawn closer to you as they watched you deliver me. Thank you, Lord, for deliverance. Thank you, Lord, for a testimony that others see You and Your glory.
Remind us, also, Lord, that deliverance does not always mean restoration. Sometimes deliverance is into another place in our lives so that we continue to grow in spiritual maturity and faith toward you. Thank you, Lord, for each hurdle, so that each time through faith, I can reach higher and higher. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
