Morning Scripture
Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught. And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves.” Mark 6:30-32 NKJV http://bible.com/114/mrk.6.30-32.nkjv |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Thank you for reminding us to rest and to rest in you. Thank you for showing us that although there is still kingdom work to be done, we must also seek rest and restoration. Heal us, Lord, from the bustle, tussle, and sometimes disappointment. Pour into us your spirit so that we may be rejuvenated and ready to take up the mantle again. Thank you, Lord, for your peace. In Jesus’ name we pray; Amen. |

Morning Scripture
“And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.”” John 6:11-12 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jhn.6.11-12.nkjv |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things - for plenty. Father, help us to remember that in your love and provision, you have given us plenty. And in your plenty that you have provided, we are to share and gather the remaining so that there is not want. Lord, in this season and always, reveal to us the abundance that you have showered upon us, so that we may share our hearts with others. In Jesus’ name we pray; Amen. |
